按：是关于大陆“阿凡达”制作土炮抗强拆的网聊，原来贴在那段新闻下面，这里起个名字重新贴一下。

U: i saw this chinese avatar on your site...but couldn't figure out what was going on
M: at the beginning, the government and the estate development company wanted to tear down that man's house
M: that man didn't agree.
M: so the estate development company hired some bad guys to beat him
M: then, he made some home-made weapons to beat back those guys who tried to enter his home.
M: kind of like cannon （有点像加农炮）
U: yeah i see...very effective rocket launcher（火箭发射器） he has
M: with those weapons, he had beat back those bad guys several times.
M: people call him Chinese Avatar
M: some media overseas had reports about it.
M: A lot of people like him and support him.
M: is it good?
U: i think it is good that someone is willing to fight for their home
M: but these days, there was some sad news. He was beat at the door of his home.
M: You can see that picture. blood on his head
U: i was wondering if he was dead?
M: not now
M: people post those pictures online and hope the media and other people pay attention to it.
U: when i was looking at the pictures before...i was thinking that his weapons malfunctioned and exploded on him
M: no, he was beat by other people
U: so...his weapons were ineffective in stopping the bad men from beating him
M: he got victories for several times, anyway, he is one, those guys are a group and supported by the government.
M: you can't ask him too much.
U: he should build an armored tank （他应该造辆装甲车）

U: but in the meantime...he needs some kung fu lessions

M: how about you drive one to him and teach him how to use it

M: I guess he is alone
U: if so many people support him...why don't they go to his place and help him
M: stay at his home and wait for those guys?
U: maybe just show up at his place...with a video and photos to show he has many supporters
M: those guys are supported by the government, you know.
U: yes...but a show of support will help some
M: people post his pictures online to show their support and give pressure to that local government.
M: reporters and some people really went there to take pictures.
U: but if a picture was posted with many many supporters at his home with signs（签字）...that would be good
M: that's why we can see those pictuers.
M: just so you know, so many similar cases in China. some people really do such things. we name it "surround and watch"
M: not for this case. for some other cases
U: how often is it successful?
M: not that good. maybe a little useful
M: there is a slogan online saying that "surround and watch is power".
U: why does the government want to destroy his house?
M: because they want to sell that field under his house
U: looks like it is a very simple structure build with wood and sheet metal
M: yeah, there is some field nearby he grew some vegetables etc. for living
U: is the governemt offering him money to leave
M: I guess it's too little
M: they don't get an agreement. then, the government sent some bad men to tear down his house.
M: the government always does such things.
M: some people burnt themselves to show their angry and desperation.
M: burnt to death
U: i guess burning ones self to death means that there is nothing left to live for
M: I remember how one woman burnt herself. When those people tried to tear down her house, she said, "if you touched it, I would burn myself". at the first time, those people went back. but for the last time, they didn't stop. and she really burnt herself.
