How do American parents educate their daughters to protect themselves?

M: I have another question. are you ready?
U: always ready for you
M: sounds good.
U: looks good too
M: sure
U: smells even better
U: and feels so soft
U: and tastes great
M: How do American parents educate their daughters to protect themselves?
M: you know, some sons may want to borrow cellphones from them
M: you are cooked?
U: no…just gently steamed
U: well…i advocate teaching young girls to be sports minded which develops a strong body
M: 🙂
U: and therefore less likely to be attacked
U: but…its not 100% protection
M: you don’t tell them that they should be beware of some men?
U: that goes with common sense
U: of course
U: never go out alone late at night
U: and don’t answer the door late at night
M: That girl who was killed here was only 23 years old.
M: First time leaving home
U: have a cell phone near by and be ready ready to call someone
U: its sad
U: anything can happen
U: you have to teach awareness
M: it’s sort of silly for such a girl with that age and experience.
U: but a girl with a strong mind and body is less likely to attacked
M: I think of my experience of that age.
M: do you like to hear?
U: sure
M: I worked in a company at that time.
M: I lived in a dormitory.
M: I had a room for myself.
U: i hear that is common in china…to live in dorm at work place
M: ((nod))
M: the company provided it to me.
M: One day, quite late, a female colleague visited me.
M: She wanted to introduce a woman to stay with me for a night
M: I thought she was her relative or some people she knew.
M: I thought I couldn’t refuse.
U: ok
M: At that time, I was afraid to refuse anyone.
M: I was afraid to make anyone unpleasant.
M: sort of silly, like that girl
U: but you were young
M: Then I said ok and asked who that woman was.
M: She told me that she didn’t know her.
U: what?
M: She said that she met her on the street
U: and you said yes…very silly
M: She said she ran away from her home and no place to stay.
U: why didn’t your friend take her in
M: My colleague was afraid to take her to her own home since she was afraid she might be a thief.
U: oh…so she her to you…thats nice
M: She didn’t tell me at that time. She said so another day.
M: I told her: it’s ok. you can go.
M: She didn’t leave.
M: She said that she would take some bed covers for her since I didn’t have enough bed covers for her and I might think she was dirty so I was unwilling to use my stuff.
M: I told her that she didn’t need to do so. I would take her to an inn or someplace to stay.
M: I would pay for her.
U: thats a good idea
M: At last, my colleague took her to an inn or someplace.
M: later on, I thought there might be something wrong.
M: Another colleague knew it and said that she might take you and sell you at night.
M: it’s terrible, right?
U: yes
M: I was silly. I didn’t realize the danger at all.
M: but I still wanted to take her to another place. do you know why?
U: no i don’t know why
M: I don’t like another people to touch my stuff.
M: that’s sort of a problem of mind.
U: i see…but it was that reason…not that you felt you were in danger
M: maybe called: Squeamish
U: oh yes
U: so you squeamish
M: this can be problem, but sometimes, it helps me out of danger
U: are you still that way?
M: less
M: it’s severe when I was at home.
U: so…did anything terrible happen that night…or was everything OK
M: no, nothing happened.
U: all because you were squeamish
M: yeah.
U: well.. maybe that is a good lesson to teach young girls
U: be squeamish and not let anyone touch your things
U: only kidding of course
M: really. It helped me more than once.
M: 😛
U: oh…there is another time?
M: maybe, at a train station.
M: ok, it’s time for you to sleep
U: yes
U: save it for tomorrow
U: i will be here
M: 🙂
U: ok then
U: good night
M: good night
M: ((hug))
U: ((hug))
M: it’s called: neat freak 😉
