On webpages with the Google Adsense, Google said, GOOGLE will automatically check your site and then give the appropriate ad content. I have the ads displayed on my webpages but I’m very unsatisfied with them. And some webpages even could not find matching ads. For example, Christmas is coming and I want to display relevant and attractive ads. So, I think of a solution: add some specific words in the webpages to attract these ads. For example, add a line with words “Christmas” on the webpage. Anyway, those words should be related to the content of your website. Otherwise, it will be against Google’s some rules.

As for which keywords to choose, you can go to the Google Adwords to get them. In the “Reporting and Tools” webpage, there is a “Keyword Tool” link, click to open. In the “Find keywords”, enter a word, for example, christmas, set “location” to “All Countries (all countries),” set “language” to “English (English)”, then press the “Search” button, and then list them by “Competition”, now you can find higher priced keywords.

For example, “christma”, the search results are as follows:

christmas gift baskets free shipping
cheap christmas hampers
christmas hampers australia
cheap christmas holidays
christmas cruises 2010
……

I think that with these keywords the webpage can attract a higher priced christmas (Christmas) ads, and increase click-through rate.
