I rent a car and drove to Simcoe Lake. When I went back to Toronto, I drove to the supermarket to buy some groceries. But, when I finished all the stuff and prepared to drive home, the car’s key was locked in the car. I could see it on the driver’s seat from the window. It’s around 6pm. Less bad, my bag was over my shoulder, so I didn’t left it in the car. In the bag, I had a mobile phone, that office of Avis company’s business card, the contract of renting a car. They were very useful.
I called the car rental company’s office. The stuff lets me to call 1-800 *******. Then, I called that number, a lady answered me. Later on, she transferred my call to a guy. I told him my position. Around 7 pm, a man came driving a car signed CAA. He used a knife, a long thin iron and a hook. First, he removed the rubber stuff between the window’s class and the window. Then, he put the hook and the iron in the gap and pull the hook. Then, the door opened. I thought that he would bring a spare key. No wonder that people are advised to put stuff on the trunk, not in the car. It’s so easy to open the car’s door.
I asked him how much I need to pay. He said, “your fee is covered. It’s free.” I didn’t buy that insurance from the car rental company. Maybe it’s included in the basic rate.
Maybe I would have another trip. I got lessons this time. I would buy the insurance about everything if possible. I only have the insurance for car damage, and for others’ injury now. I should buy some for my own safety.
Please look into http://www.avis.co.il/avis/site/local/avis/html/shortRentalEng.jsp tours. We have several friend who used them and were very happy. We ourselves are planning on joining their tour next June for bar-mitvah.
