Updates of Qian Yun Hui’s death (9): the “super” power of netizens

M: some news about that village, kind of emergency.
M: Now, in the village, it’s daytime. Mr. Wu Gan said on his micro-blog that all the entrances of the village are blocked. Someone said on her/his micro-blog that he/she saw armed police on the entrance.
U: wow…like a state of emergency
M: Mr. Wu said that the assistants of Mr. Wu entered that village with the help of a villager through a lane secretly, but when one assistant came out, he was forced to have a “meal” with the people who may be sent by the local gov’t.
M: The netizens are forwarding this message on the micro-blog website now.
M: Hope that the local gov’t can feel the pressure and release him.
U: yeah sure…they feel no pressure from the citizens
M: Chinese netizens have super power in China. 😉
M: Just so you know, that lawyer who cheated Mr. Qian has started to return the money he cheated from Mr. Qian.
M: That’s the power of Chinese netizens.
U: no not really…the authorities can simply turn off their internet connection
M: but the internet connections are ok now. The netizens try to find more information about this event now. For example, which company or organization that car that took that guy away belongs to.
M: When they find some information with a phone number, they will call it. 😉
M: Do you remember that girl who killed an officer? She was detained in a mental hospital. When the netizens knew the name and the phone number of that hospital, they started to call that phone number. Maybe a lot of them cursed at the receivers. The hospital couldn’t bear it and had to give in.
U: is that really how she was set free?
M: That was the beginning of that story.
M: After the sentence was announced on the court, she was hidden by the local gov’t for a while.
M: Netizens worried about her very much at that time. But Mr. Wu called her and knew she was ok.
M: Then, after a year, I saw a report.
M: It said that the local gov’t assigned a job for her at a town.
M: and rent a place for her to live.
M: The local gov’t pays the rent.
M: The local gov’t even assigned a job for her step-father.
M: She said that she was glad to her life and didn’t want to think about that event.
M: Of course, some netizens were disappointed. They said that they saved her so she should save others as a return. But now, she just enjoyed her own comfortable life.
M: But a lot of netizens said that she still was a hero.
U: it seems some pressure did work…but i heard it was from pressure by western governments that set her free
M: Because she kept the bottom line of our society’s morality.
M: No, the western governments even didn’t know about it. Maybe a few reports.

That assistant has been set free. With so many secrets and doubts, this case has started to fade out of the focus of the public.

Most likely this is so-called “Chinese characteristics” that Chinese gov’t stressed and stresses.

According the information from the Internet, the local gov’t has been working hard to force the people to admit that this case is a traffic accident. But it seems some netizens just are unwilling to give up. A “movie” about the case from the Ai Weiwei’s group will be produced.

    Let’s wait and see.
