China and Hong Kong should insist on seeking for an answer about Philipines bus hostage strategy

Today, BBC reports that investegation said that some hostages may be shot by the police on Manila bus hostage on Aug. 23.

China and Hong Kong should insist on seeking for an answer about bus hostage strategy, and put more pressure to that inept government, not because of revenge or hatred, instead, it can be for the sake of Philipines, even for the world.

When China’s fake medicine or poisonous food have a scandal abroad, we, Chinese, think it’s good that those governments seek for an answer from China’s government. Really. We also are victims of those fake medicine and poisonous food, and hate them, but the goverment just don’t listen to us. It’s good for some power to make this corrupt government to do right things. Philipines should think the same: let this inept Philipines government do right things.

What if those bus hostages in Manila, Philipines, were Americans ……

M: I have another question to ask you. I’ve been waiting to ask you about it these days.
U: what was the next question?
M: About the Philipines bus hostage.
U: OK
M: What would happen if the hostages were Americans?
M: Would the U.S. marine corp. take over it?
U: i don’t know… it depends on the type of situation
U: not the marine corps
U: maybe special forces
M: USA has some troops in Philipines
M: would they come to take over the situation?
M: Those polices seem quite inept
U: but those troops would not be used in a hostage situation
U: special forces trained for this situation would used
M: oh, someone said it would be the same if the hostages were from other countries, except USA
M: do you mean that USA would take over the situation with some special forces in Philipines?
U: i don’t think the hostage taker targeted the hostages because they were chinese
U: he just wanted to take hostages
M: yes
U: it could have been a group from any country
M: oh, i c
U: if a person purposely targeted Amercans then special forces would be sent in to handle the situation
M: oh, i c
M: it shows that the people’s guess is right.
U: maybe
M: seems you are not sure about it 😉
U: well…i can’t give out military secrets over skype
M: (mm)
U: it would not look good for me to give a chinese spy such information
U:   :)
M:

U:  8-|
M: you are an American spy
U: but i live here
M: you gether information through the Internet.
U: OK…you found out…now i have to capture you and extract more information from you
U: I HAVE WAYS OF MAKING YOU TALK

Philipines hostage drama: we should help them improve, not hate them

On Aug. 23, 9 Hong Kongers were killed in a hijacked tourist bus in Manila, Philipines. It seems obvious that the Philipines’ government and police force is inept and should take the responsibility for the bloody end.

Since then, a lot of Chinese, especially Hong Kongers, got furious. I can’t understand the words of Cantonese so I’m not sure what Hong Kongers post about it. On a online forum in the mainland of China, some people poured dirty words to Philipines, and even other Chinese people who may just not show praise to their “anger” , which is another kidnapping in some way. I can’t agree with those Philipines, but I can’t agree with those Chinese people either since I can’t see the difference between both.

Luckly, I found some responses from Chinese that inspire me. Here I list 3:

It’s the first time that all the Chinese people can blame a corrupt government together in public.

When I saw Philipines taking photos before that hijacked tourist bus, I thought of our responses to 911 in USA.

It’s not about discrimination against Chinese. It’ll be the same to the people from any other country except USA. The government is corrupt and their police force is inept. That country depends on their girls being maid abroad. We should help them improve, not hate them.

The Philippines are worse

I knew the Philippines a little before. I just knew it has a democratic political system, I even sort of admire this country for it, and before it was even better than Singapore. Someone said that Chinese people pay much attention to Europe and America, and like to ignore the countries in Southeastern of Asia. Someone said that Tailand is better than China. Those opinions make me think that maybe those countries’ governments are better than Chinese government and people there are better. But I have no time to do some research about it.

Now a lot of Chinese focus on Philipine, a small Southeastern country because on 23, Aug., in Manila, eight Hong Kong turists were killed in a hostage crisis on a tourist bus. That day, I’ve been watching USA’s History channel and missed the live news about it. But on the micro-blogging site, there are so many posts about that.

I saw some vedios about it online later. I went to see the comments of the news… … Here is my impression: they are worse. Not to mention how incapable their polices, their government are, at least, their president can show a serious face, not a cheekily face before the media after so many innocent people were killed.

Especially a comment from a Philipine (I guess the poster is from Philipine). He just shows how he hates China under the news about this tragedy. At least, if he doesn’t feel sorry about it, he can keep silence. Anyway, he can hate China if he likes, but such hatred generally shows one’s inability.

Generally Hong Kongers are quite generous and compassionate. And they have denoted a lot of money etc. to assist Philipines. Now, the Philipines treat those people in this way.

I always think that Chinese government and Chinese people have so many problem. Now, I feel that the Philipines are worse.

Someone said that if those hostage are Americans, the U.S. Marine Corps located in the Philipines will take over it by themselves. I don’t know. When I have a chance, I will check it. More and more I learn about the world, more and more I feel that U.S.A. is so capable.

China is a third-world country, but the Chinese official media likes to close the door and talk big at home to make peple feel that China is the first or second country in the world. It’s not good. If one tries to catch up with another one, first, they should know the gap between each other. I hate Chinese government fooling Chinese people for keeping its power.

My condolense goes to those Hong Kongers and their family.

Some hostages were killed on that bus in the pictures. Anyway, those Philippines really “impress” me.
