This Website Is Temporarily Unavailable, Please Try Again Later. (Godaddy )

On Aug. 22:

I tried to forward my domain on godaddy.com. Then my website shows: This Website Is Temporarily Unavailable, Please Try Again Later. I deleted the “forwarding”. But when I visit my website, it still shows: This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.

I go to cPanel to change DNS Server, make the IP address is 192.168.220.136.

I ping my website. It shows the IP address is still 50.63.202.*. It’s said that it’s a godaddy forwarding IP address. It may take some time to recover. I will try tomorrow.

Plus: I tried again before I gave up. My website is working again now.

How to set up a php cron job on godaddy.com (with command sample)

The command:
/usr/local/bin/php /home/myaccount/public_html/folder_name/mycron.php

If you don’t know the path, you can use “dirname(__FILE__)” to get it.

If you want to test it, set time to “every minute”. If it output something on the webpage: mycron.php, like echo, “this will be shown on the webpage”; , it will send you an email. If no output to the webpage, no email.

How to Make Subdomains Work in Godaddy

First, Log in the website and proceed by clicking on “My account”;

Second, click “WEB HOSTING”, then click “Launch” ……
Anyway, at last open the cPanel. Then click “Subdomain” to build subdomains and

configure the redirection etc..

But the subdomains won’t work.

Here there is anything that needs to be done.

Third, on the cPanel, click to open the “DNS Manageer” window.

Click “Add Record” to add the A records for the subdomains.

For example, the subdomain is sub.domain.com. It will be shown like this:

A (Host)
Host  Points to    TTL
sub   IP address   10 minutes

If the domain name isn’t hosted by godaddy. Then go to the domain name host

provider’s website to add the new A record for the subdomain.

The subdomain will work very soon.
