在siteground.com的shared Server上安装SSL笔记

我用的siteground.com的GrowBig plan账户, 送免费一年SSL.

登录siteground.com账户，点击 SSL 后面的 “Get Free”，然后，选择要加密的域名，点击“提交”就可以了。在IE 8里没有这个选域名的选项，在Firefox打开才有。

然后，访问加密的域名，就显示下面这个错误。

连接 yourdomain.com 时发生错误。

SSL 接收到一个超出最大准许长度的记录。

（错误码： ssl_error_rx_record_too_long）

过一阵，在Firefox上，变成这个错误：

连接 yourdomain.com 时发生错误。

OCSP 服务器没有证书的状态。

（错误码： sec_error_ocsp_unknown_cert）

这个需要手动改一下，过程如下：

OCSP（在线证书状态协议）是使用SSL证书用于安全通信的状态来判断一个网站的互联网协议。下面介绍如何修复或变通解决“没有OCSP服务器证书”的错误消息。

运行环境：Windows XP，　Firefox 23.0.1

在Firefox窗口的顶部的工具菜单，单击 “ 选项 “。

点击高级的图标，打开“高级”面板。点击“ 证书 “选项卡上的验证。证书验证窗口出现。

选中“连接OCSP服务器失败时，将证书视为无效“这一项。

点击“确定”以关闭“选项”窗口。

这样就会暂时禁止OCSP证书验证，就可以在Firefox中打开https链接了。

How to resolve the ”The OCSP server has no status for the certificate” error?

When the secure certificate’s status can not be determined through OSCP (Online Certificate Status Protocol), Mozilla Firefox displays the following

error message:

The OCSP server has no status for the certificate.

You can avoid this error message by opening Mozilla Firefox and loading Edit -> Preferences from the menu.

When the Preferences window opens click on the Advanced tab and select the Encryption subtab.

On the next page click on the Validation button and make sure that the Use the Online Certificate Status Report (OSCP) to confirm the current

validity of certificates check-box is not selected.

Save the changes by clicking on the OK button and close the Preferences window.

对于没有加密的域名，访问时也可能出错，等一阵应该就可以了。
